This is the history of color appearance models. I recognize 4 main model builders, Dr. Hunt, Dr. Fairchild, Dr. Nayatani and Dr. Luo. We tested 5 color appearance models, CIECAM97s, Hunt94, RLAB96, Nayatani97 and LLAB96, and two other models CIELAB and von Kries chromatic adaptation model.
